Rock of ages    

1) Rock of ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee;
Let the water and the blood
From Your wounded side which flowed
Be for sin the double cure,

2) Nothing in my hand I bring,
Simply to the cross I cling;
Naked, come to You for dress;
Helpless, look to You for grace;

Wash me, Saviour, or I die.
All my works could not atone,
You must save, and You alone.

3) While I draw this fleeting breath,
When my eyes shall close in death,
When I soar to worlds unknown,
See You on Your judgment throne;
Then my eyes shall see the King
And the glories of His heaven,
There behold You face to face,
Saved forever by Your grace.
